Dear Office of Instructional Technology Staff Developers,
Welcome back! We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation. We are pleased to share that the OIT is planning to offer iTeach, iLearn (Grade 6 and 8), and Get Going with...classes at Court Square and we would like you would like you to join us as staff developers in providing these classes.
PD opportunities we are planning can be found http://oit.wikispaces.com/Class+Schedule+2007+-+2008. On the schedule you will find your name next to the class we are requesting you to teach. Dates and times are indicated on the schedule. You will receive one hour of prep time for each day you teach. Facilitators will receive Trainer Rate ($39.20) for classes occuring outside the school day. Upon request we will send your principal an email requesting your release for classes that occur during the school day, however, we will not reimburse schools for substitutes.
Please indicate "yes" or "no" in the "confirmed" column by CBD Friday, September 14th, 2008 at http://oit.wikispaces.com/Class+Schedule+2007+-+2008 if you are accepting this wonderful opportunity to work with us to provide this professional development.
